OnCall Dental - Fresno

I don't know where to start... I came into the office with an emergency that became a bad infection and had no insurance after 5 years of not seeing a dentist because of bad trauma. First ALL of the staff was so polite and welcoming as soon as I walked in especially on the phone when I first called to make an appointment . The front desk( all the beautiful ladies) we're all so kind to my partner and myself. First I want to say a big big Thank you to Dr.Gates for being so gentle and patient with me especially with my anxiety, the first doctor to ever make me feel comfortable and not a burden and for all his assistants for being understanding and comforting and for the front desk for helping us with the payments and explaining everything with patience even when I was being a crybaby:) Would definitely come back and refer anyone who has a fear just like mine.. they even let me keep the tooth and gave us treats towards the end of our appointment:) I have so much more to say but to keep it short best dental care and staff in the 559 hands down!!

I'm someone who struggles deeply with anxiety and the dentist ever since I had a horrible experience as a child, so when I was in pain and looking for someone to extract without judgement, and came across this place just down the street from me, I was skeptical. The reviews seemed good enough so I gave it a shot, and I'm SO GLAD I did. Dr Gates is hands down the most amazing dentist I've ever seen. He is so kind and non judgmental! He explains everything he's doing while he's doing it which is exactly what my anxiety driven mind needs! Im gonna recommend this place to everyone who ever needs an emergency dentist. Thank you dr gates!

An excellent dental service, with caring, attentive staff and especially, communicative skills. Each staff member appeared proud to be a part of this dental team and their manner reflects commitment and professionalism. Thanks Angela, Emma, Tiffany, Danae, and Dr. Mirelez! This is probably the best dentist I've been to. The ENTIRE staff is working towards the same goal and that is to make sure YOU have a pleasant visit. Their dedication to that and their motivation really shows. They pay attention to all the small details that add up to a huge impact on your visit.

-You will always be greeted by a kind person. The ladies in the front are really sweet and actually make conversation.
-The office is CLEAN and smells AMAZING! It doesn't smell like a bottle of sanitizer and bleach.
- there is a keurig machine, magazines and comfy seats if you have to wait.
- there was complimentary chapstick at the counter for your dry chapped lips

When you get to the back, the awesome smells don't go away. The dental assistants and so sweet and VERY knowledgeable. They get to know you as a person and not just as another set of teeth. When they take x-rays they use this handheld gun. So they can do x-rays and consultation all in the same chair! Today I got a root canal done and it was a great experience. The doctor gave me a shot and I didn't even feel a needle go in!! He was so gentle and did a little shaking trick so I didn't feel a thing. His assistant was on point with the suction thing and I didn't choke on my spit not Once! She gave me ibuprofen and Tylenol BEFORE the treatment to cover me in case I had pain AFTER! She was really generous with the vaseline on my lips so they didn't crack or chap. The doctor shined up my tooth so nice it's probably my best tooth in my whole mouth now! Lol!! Why would I ever go anywhere else?!

Yeah I called on a Saturday for an infection, my cheek was extremely swollen and I was scared. They called me back after the weekend was over. I ended up going to the ER because it was throbbing and swelling more. Good thing I didn't wait.

I left a message for my urgent situation early Saturday morning. They called me on Tuesday. Enough said.

Everyone here is so nice, I wish I found OnCall Dental/ Mirelez Wellness Dental sooner. I have sensitive teeth that was worked by different dentist from different dental practice that made it worst.

In desperate need of finding a professional dentist, I found OnCall Dental in Yelp. I called and spoke to Elena. She had a welcoming voice, listen patiently to what my issue was and got an appt that day. Tiffany is the RDA who assisted, friendly and knowledgeable. She made sure that I am comfortable and reassuring that I am in good hand. (I had a bad trauma over dental treatment when I was young which led this anxiety and fear in dental treatment) Dr. Nguyen is great, good listener, friendly and professional. He looks at my xray and test my sensitivity points. He explained in detail which tooth that causes pain/sensitivity. During the treatment, he make sure that I am comfortable and do not feel any pain. At the end of the treatment, Dr. Nguyen provided enough details and information for my next dental procedures with no pressure.

Overall, the whole dental practice is friendly, accommodating, compassionate, clean and state-of-the-art facility. I would highly recommend this office to everyone. I found my new dentist!

They took great care of me, very gentle. The office and employee's have a really good vibe. Definitely going back.

Let me start by saying thank you to all the staff they do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable and answer all your questions. Went in because my front tooth fell out went in and Dr Gates took care of me. I feared the dentist but Dr Gates made me feel comfortable. The staff is super awesome they great you right away, help you if you do not have insurance, very understandable! If I could give more stars I would I highly recommend On Call Dental

I have been calling for about two weeks to pay my bill and no one answers. i have called over 20 times. they overcharged me for the emergency dental and x-ray.
